The PinPoint GB Geocaching Awards will give players in Great Britian the opportunity to acknowledge and reward the contributions made by geocachers right across the country, culminating in an online ceremony.

Read the category descriptions below, decide on your nominations and gather the information you need. Then come back here and scroll down for the link to the nomination form.
The categories are:
Best New Cache – sponsored by the Village Hall Series
For non-event caches which have been placed during the last year. The cache must have been published after 1/8/2025 and before 31/7/2026, and must be hidden in Great Britain, the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands. Please give the GC code and name of the cache.
Best Heritage Cache – sponsored by London Calling 2027
For caches which are over a year old. The cache can be any non-event type cache, must have been published on or before 31/7/2025 and must be hidden in Great Britain, the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands. Please provide the GC code and name of the cache.
Best Adventure Lab – sponsored by NE Geocaching Supplies
This should be a complete Adventure Lab set and not an individual stage, and not a ‘geo art’ or other collection of Adventure Labs. The nominated Adventure Lab must have been activated after 1/8/2025 and before 31/7/2026, and must be located in Great Britain, the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands. Please provide the exact name and location of the Adventure Lab set.
Best Log – sponsored by SideTracked Series
This can be any log type on any cache type. The log must have been made on or after 1/8/2025 and before 31/7/2026, and can relate to any cache type or Event in Great Britain, the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands. Please provide a link either to a) your nominated log or b) the GC code of the cache followed by the cacher’s name and the date of their log.
Best Event – sponsored by the GAGB
The Event must have taken place on or after 1/8/2025 and before 31/7/2026 in Great Britain, the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands. This can only be an Event-type cache and not a Mega, Giga, CCE or CITO. Please provide the GC code and name of the Event cache.
Outstanding Community Contribution – sponsored by The UK Geocoin Database
A geocacher or organisation you believe has made an oustanding contribution to the geocaching community. This can relate to any aspect of geocaching, including but not limited to cache placement, social activity or service provision. The geocacher or organisation must be based in Great Britain, the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands. Please provide a short supporting statement giving your reasons for your nomination.
Best Gadget Cache – sponsored by Scorch Wood
The cache must have been published after 1/8/2025 and before 31/7/2026, and must be a physical cache hidden in Great Britain, the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands. Please provide the GC code of the gadget cache.
Best Extreme Cache – sponsored by Project Geocoin
The cache must have been published after 1/8/2025 and before 31/7/2026, and must be located within Great Britain, the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands. Please provide the GC code of the extreme cache.
Best Local Series – sponsored by West Midlands UK Mega 2027
The series can include any physical cache type(s). It must have been published after 1/8/2025 and before 31/7/2026, and must be completely located in Great Britain, the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands. Please provide the GC code of one of the caches in the series as the name of the series. If the series is numbered, please provide the GC code of the first geocache of the series, otherwise any geocache in the series that contains information about the series and, the series name if it has one.
You have until midnight on 21st August to make your nominations in any or all of the categories
Voting will take place during September
The online awards ceremony will take place on
Friday 16th October
