PinPoint Pursuit Update, May 2025

We’re kicking off this month’s update with a huge apology. Owing to a technical error with our entry form, PP Racer : Chevalier has been missed off the spreadsheet for each update, and this has only just come to our attention. Not only that, but with an adjusted journey of over 55,000 miles, it jumps straight into the lead! This has really mixed things up at the top of the table!

We now have just one TB that has failed to make a move, with the whimsically named “Oh, you can’t help that,” said the Cat having finally entered the fray with a huge leap of over 3,000 miles.

Remember, any miles clocked up by virtual visits to the so-called Locationless cache (which is actually located in Seattle!) are deducted, and any racers this applies to are marked in pink. Because of this, our race mileage may not match that shown on the TB’s page.

It was interesting to see how many of our racers passed through London Calling 25 at the weekend, although we didn’t spot any ourselves. Next stop for UK Megas will be Piratemania, and then the UK Severn Mega in August where the race ends. I wonder how many will wash up there to finish our race in style‽ Not long to go now, and we’re delighted that so many TBs are still going strong, with only one possible MIA. In fact, only a quarter of PP racers didn’t make a move since our last update!
