PinPoint Pursuit Update, January 2024
The New Year sees lots of change on our leaderboard, with all but three tags now having entered the race. Kris&Co’s ‘Tufty’ tag is still out in front, but only by the skin of its teeth, with ‘Loads of Miles’ now snapping at the heels of both the front runners. Surely a change at the top will be coming soon?
There have been a few huge leaps this month as well. ‘Loads of Miles’ has caught up with the leaders by way of an 11,000-mile increase, thanks to a trip down under to New South Wales. ‘Sea Panda’ has also made over 11,000 miles since we last looked, largely because of a return trip to the Caribbean! The other big traveller this time has been ‘Joolswools’, which has also made a leap to the trackable magnet that is New South Wales!
However, 14 of the 39 entrants made no progress at all in December. Three have yet to leave their drop-off point, but the shortest distance travelled so far is by ‘Tachycardia’, with a modest voyage to date of just 196 feet!
The finish line will soon be appearing on the horizon, but for the moment there’s a long, long way to go and anything can still happen!
